Indications in Children:

1. Acute Otitis Media (middle ear infection)

2. Pharyngitis / Tonsillitis (when penicillin is unsuitable)

3. Community-Acquired Pneumonia (CAP)

4. Mild to Moderate Sinusitis

5. Skin and Soft Tissue Infections

6. Bacterial Diarrhea / Dysentery (e.g., Campylobacter, Shigella)

7. Pertussis (Whooping Cough)

8. Chlamydia trachomatis infections (neonatal conjunctivitis or pneumonia)

💊 Dosing Guidelines (Pediatric Use)

🧮 Example Dosing for a 15 kg Child (Using 200 mg/5 mL Syrup)

• Day 1 (10 mg/kg):
  150 mg = 3.75 mL

• Days 2–5 (5 mg/kg):
  75 mg/day = 1.875 mL daily
